Rinsing off at the Servicemen’s Country Club, 1943 and 1947 respectively. The SMC was a USO beach resort located at Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive.

Men and women in the service could use the club’s tents, cottages, outdoor pavillion and dancehall for rest and relaxation while on leave.

This is glorious and happymaking and I’m just gonna leave it here and call it a night. An excellent, excellent night.
